Are there cases of residence permit denials?

This happens extremely rarely and requires specific reasons. If all documents are prepared correctly (which our lawyer monitors) and clients guarantee the truthfulness of the information they provide to the Department when completing applications, there are no grounds for denial. In our company's work experience, there have been no denials; absolutely all of our clients have received residence permits in Latvia.

I want to move my family to Latvia. I'm interested in education questions - where should I send my child to school?

More than 40% of Latvia's population speaks Russian as their native language; in Riga, this figure is more than 60%. Accordingly, there are schools with Russian language instruction. And there's a definite advantage here: upon completing a European school, your child will speak several languages, as all schools in Latvia teach Latvian and English from the primary grades at a very high level. This occurs without detriment to the native Russian language and their own culture. For those family members finishing or having completed school - Latvia has a number of private universities where instruction is conducted in Russian. There are programs with English language instruction.

We are pensioners. How is medical care organized?

In Latvia, state medical services are available to most of the population. Especially when compared with Russian prices, for example in Moscow - the local medical services sector has a noticeable advantage. Moreover, there is a more tolerant attitude toward patients, even when it comes to receiving services at state and inexpensive private clinics. Also, ambulance calls are free in Latvia. Absolutely at all medical facilities, you will be treated politely and kindly in Russian.

Can you briefly and clearly explain how the process of buying real estate and obtaining a residence permit works at your agency?

Briefly, it works as follows:
1) You make a request, write your requirements - and receive a detailed response;
2) We send you information about properties that meet your request and may be of interest to you;
3) When you're ready, you come to Latvia, where we meet you and show you the properties;
4) If you're satisfied with beginning our cooperation, we can do everything else for you, including in your absence - complete the transaction by power of attorney, conduct all bureaucratic procedures with state institutions, including preparation of documents for obtaining a residence permit in the EU.
