What is allowed / prohibited if you are coming from Russia?

Most importantly - a 2-week isolation cannot be replaced by a certificate of a negative coronavirus test. You must spend two weeks in some place, in your own house, apartment or hotel.
You can only leave your house to visit a store (in a mask) or for walks in nature, maintaining a distance of two meters.
Visiting public places, government institutions, banks, and shopping centers is prohibited.
Non-compliance with these measures will result in a fine.
How is this monitored?
Based on our clients' experience, after arriving in Latvia, contact information and phone numbers are passed to the police.
The police call several times during the two weeks and ask you to confirm your location.
In some cases, you had to approach the window.
Overall, two weeks of home isolation pass calmly and do not create much inconvenience!
After that, you can return to normal life.
