1) Is this amount for the entire family? Or per person?
The fee is paid for the entire family, regardless of the number of people.
If you are alone, the fee will be 5000 euros. If there are three of you, you will also need to pay 5000 euros.
2) Do you need to pay 5000 euros at once? Or can you pay in installments?
There are two options. You can pay 5000 euros immediately, or 1000 euros per year.
If you pay all at once, it's only for your convenience so that you don't have to repeat this payment every year, waste time, or pay bank fees.
There are no risks. If you decide to refuse the residence permit, you can submit an application and return the unused portion within a month.
3) Can I pay the fee in person at the Department with a bank card?
Unfortunately, that option is not available. The fee is paid by bank transfer using the account details provided after a positive decision is made regarding residence permit renewal.
Therefore, the fee is paid through a bank using the account details. You will only be able to receive your new cards once the fee has been credited to the State Treasury account. This usually takes 2-4 days from the payment date.
4) Can I pay the fee from a foreign bank?
Yes, you can. Our clients have paid the fee from Russia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. In this case, you should keep in mind that the payment will be processed in 3-4 days.

5) Is it true that those who obtained a residence permit before a certain period, for example, before 2014, don't have to pay the fee?
Unfortunately, that's not the case. Since 2018, everyone who requests a residence permit for the next five-year period based on real estate ownership must pay the fee.
