About Apostille of Documents Issued in Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine or Uzbekistan.
Please note that as of April 1, 2019, the rules for registering state documents have changed. Before that, nothing needed to be certified.
For example, Russian certificates of good conduct, marriage certificates, birth certificates of children were previously accepted without any certification and additional formalities.
But now, for these documents it is necessary to obtain an "Apostille". If the certificate is issued in Russian or English, translation is not required. Only an "Apostille" is needed.
Important nuance. The apostille must be placed on the original document, not a copy. If it is a marriage certificate, the Apostille is placed on the original, and a regular photocopy is submitted to the Department of Citizenship and Migration. However, you will need to present the original.
As for translation, translation is not required if the document is issued in Russian or English. If it is in another language - then you need to obtain an Apostille, and then an official translation into English or Russian.
Without an "Apostille", the Department of Citizenship and Migration will refuse to consider your residence permit application.
As far as we know, you can order an "Apostille" from private organizations, notary offices, or directly from the state institutions that provide this service.
As for "private documents", an "Apostille" is not required here.
That is, on a resume, on a certificate from your place of work, on a certificate from a bank, it is sufficient to place the organization's seal and ensure it is signed.
