According to real estate valuation company "Interbaltija", in the first seven months of this year, Riga saw the largest number of transactions in the last 15 years - almost 7000!
The most active periods before 2025 were 2019 and 2023, when the number of transactions approached 6000.
One of the worst was the "covid" year (2020), when the number of transactions fell to approximately 3000, under the influence of Covid 19, the imposed restrictions and general uncertainty.
After 2020, the market has demonstrated steady growth, followed by a sharp surge in 2025.
This indicates a strong activation of the real estate market in Riga.
Based on our observations, demand has grown due to economic factors (income growth, credit availability, decline in Euribor rates), thanks to tourism development, as well as due to the fact that a large number of new projects are being built in Riga.
This year has also been successful for our company - for example, apartments have been sold that were on the market for several years.
