Do you know what the tallest building in Riga is? It's the television tower, standing 368.5 meters high. It's the tallest television tower in the European Union!
The second building that everyone knows is Saint Peter's Cathedral. Its height is 123.25 meters. This is the very mark that serves as the limit for residential buildings.
In Riga, you cannot build residential buildings that are taller than Saint Peter's Cathedral.
For this reason, three of the most famous high-rise projects comply with this rule.
The "Panorama Plaza" project, not far from the Spice shopping center, reaches 113.90 meters in height.
Nearby are the "Z Towers" standing 123 meters tall. From the windows of this complex, there is a panoramic view over Riga.
And finally, the "Skanduves Towers" project in downtown Riga - this is 76 meters. All four towers of the project have the same height.
Each of these projects is an architectural ensemble. "Panorama Plaza" - two towers are already built, and two are under construction.
"Z Towers" - these are two buildings. "Skanduves Towers" - these are four buildings.
It's worth noting that all projects are in very high demand.
At "Skanduves Towers," all apartments are sold, with only secondary market options available.
"Panorama Plaza" - since the project was completed in 2006-2007, everything is already sold. The two new towers are under construction, and sales will begin in the coming years.
"Z Towers" - an exclusive project that is implemented floor by floor. Several apartments are being prepared and offered for sale.
After each realization, the next apartments on other floors will be offered. Obviously, if all apartment inventory were put up for sale simultaneously, this would be incorrect, as a large volume of exclusive residential properties would flood the market at once. In such a segment, there's no need to rush - there are very few buyers for such properties.
