The Government of Latvia has approved amendments that all real estate market participants have been awaiting for a long time.
From July 1st, registration fees for property ownership will be reduced. For individuals from 2% to 1.5%. For legal entities purchasing apartments, from 6% to 2%.
It is expected that this will increase the number of transactions and promote market development.
