- Customs clearance and registration in Latvia must be completed within one year from the moment you permanently began living in Latvia.
- The fact of residence must be proven. This includes stamps on entry and exit in your passport, a certificate from your country of residence about employment termination, and so on.
- The property cannot be sold for 12 months thereafter.
- If it is a motor vehicle, it must comply with European standards.
