As is well known, there are currently many travel restrictions in place. Many air routes have been closed, and the direct flights that were once commonplace are no longer available.
Despite this, over the past several months, clients from Russia, Israel, Ukraine, Germany, England, Singapore, and Switzerland have been able to come to Latvia.
You can travel from Russia to Latvia in your own car.
Or you can find groups on social media - Facebook groups "Ride Sharers" and "Shared Trips Riga - Moscow (St. Petersburg)", where you can find fellow travelers or drivers who will take you to the Russian border, then you cross the border on foot, where a Latvian driver will meet you and take you to your final destination.
As for air connections, many clients purchase tickets with Lufthansa and reach Latvia with a transfer in Germany. Lufthansa offers many destinations.
Some clients also purchase airline tickets to Vilnius airport. If airline tickets are more affordable or convenient with arrival in Vilnius, you can reach Riga from Vilnius by car or bus, which takes approximately 4 hours.
Finally, the most convenient but most expensive option is private aircraft. Certain companies offer private plane flights.
